Supplier inclusionUK Inclusive Sourcing Summit 2025

“Every purchase is a choice.”

The question is: do we want our supply chains to be mirrors of the past – or to build a more inclusive future?

Inclusion shouldn't be a side project; it creates genuine commercial value

For many small and medium businesses, the biggest barrier isn’t capability, it’s equal access to opportunity.

Procurement processes are often designed with large suppliers in mind: particularly long tenders. They screen out innovation before it even gets a chance.

Inclusion in action

From strategic intent
to meaningful action.

With Meta, we helped turn ambition into an actionable supplier strategy. With HSBC, we helped bring a supplier development programme to life.

Meta

A shared direction for
supplier strategy.

As its business context and priorities changed, Meta’s supplier team needed to come together, align and create a new strategy.

Wildfire engaged stakeholders, reviewed the evidence and designed and facilitated a strategy workshop in Paris. We helped the team move from big ambition to actionable plans, capturing the outputs in a strategy pack for immediate use.

The difference

Space for honest conversations. Clearer shared direction. Practical tools and an actionable strategy.

HSBC

Building confidence.
Opening connections.

For HSBC’s Supplier Growth Connect pilot, Wildfire helped design and deliver a programme supporting LGBTQ+ businesses to engage with large corporates.

From January to March 2026, the experience combined expert-led learning, peer connection and an in-person finale with practice pitches and procurement feedback.

*Reported end-of-programme feedback in the July 2026 impact report. Survey response count is not stated.

The difference

Practical supplier development, closer relationships with procurement and a peer community that continued beyond the programme.

Working together.
Opening more doors.

Wildfire serves on the OutBritain Advisory Board. Our relationship reflects a shared commitment to creating more opportunities for LGBTQ+ businesses and strengthening connections across the supplier community.

For us, supplier inclusion is personal. It is about the people behind businesses, the relationships we build and the possibilities we create together.
